JEE Main result 2018 will be declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday. The score of JEE Main 2018 Paper 1, students’ ranks as well as the list of top 220,000 candidates eligible for JEE Advanced, for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and other top engineering institutes, will be announced by the education board.
The All-India Rank is used for admissions to National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI), Self-Financed Institutes (SFIs), and other institutes.
Students will be ranked on the basis of their JEE Mains 2018 score and there will be no weightage for Class 12 marks, unlike last year.
The board said more than 10,00,000 students appeared in the JEE Main 2018 offline exam held on April 8 and more than 200,000 candidates took the online exam on April 15 and April 16.
The registration process for JEE Advanced 2018 will start from May 2 and the exam will be held on May 2.

#Students across the country said they were anxious but confident of clearing JEE Main 2018.
#In West Bengal’s capital Kolkata, Aritra Srimani of South Point High School said he is “quite confident” of cracking JEE Main 2018 this time but was tensed before the results. “But I am trying to divert my attention from the tension and accept whatever be the fallout tomorrow. To bring down my stress level I am chatting with my friends and watching television,” Srimani said.
#Jayanshi Tripathi, a Class 12 student of GD Goenka Public School in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow, said she is positive of clearing the exam and has already started preparing for JEE Advance 2018.
#Aniket Bisen from the same school said it is not easy to secure a good rank among lakhs of students who compete for seats in good institutes but added that he was “confident of my performance.”
#Manas Kashyap, JEE Main 2018 candidate from Patna in Bihar, said he has worked very hard for the exam and was “very much excited”. “I have matched my answers with the answer keys and I am hoping to score good marks in the paper. It was my father’s dream to see his son as an engineer and this examination will be a turning point for me,” Kashyap said.
#Many of the students in Madhya Pradesh’s Bhopal spent Sunday with their parents and friends as they tried to keep themselves calm.

Candidates can check their JEE Main 2018 results by clicking at jeemain.nic.in(after they are announced).
They can enter their roll number, date of birth in dd/mm/yyyy format, security pin as provided in the image and click on submit. The JEE Main 2018 results will be displayed on the screen. Candidates can download it on a computer and take a printout for future reference.
